Google expands AI Mode to 200+ markets worldwide

Yesterday marked a defining moment in the evolution of online search. Google announced the global expansion of its AI Mode in Search, bringing the feature to more than 35 new languages and 40 additional countries, including European territories such as Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and Sweden. With this rollout, AI Mode now reaches users across more than 200 markets worldwide. This is a major step in Google’s mission to make AI-powered search the new global standard.
Powered by the latest Gemini models, AI Mode allows users to ask questions in the most natural way, text, voice, or images, thanks to advanced natural language understanding and multimodal capabilities. The technology is designed to understand the subtleties of local languages and contexts, making results more relevant and conversational.
Google reports that users interacting with AI Mode are asking three times longer and more complex queries than with traditional search, signalling a significant shift in how people explore information online.
The rollout continues over the next week, opening the door for more users to dive into more deeper and complex topics.
